Extremism takes place all around the society and world, in all styles. With the technology evolving the violence also evolves into a new era. Communication is what differs human beings from other animals, the ability to think, to decide for themselves, and to be able to share it to the people surrounding. As with everything, the technology can also be used in a good way or a bad way, depending on the people,
the situation and the topic.
The situation also changes with the generations. The accessibility to tools of technology and other materials and the era a descent is brought up has undeniable effects on their thinking and mindset. If a person is brought up in an international setting, they will be used to seeing people of different colour, race, ethnicity, culture and speaking different languages. This is different for the people who has never met a person out of their own culture, there is always a fear to what is unknown. Extremist sides can be a result of fear to unknown, on the other hand with the rise in the use of technology, the new generations grow up with the access to everything and they are more exposed globally.PCVE stands for ‘’preventing and countering violent extremism’’. Each and every tool is crucial and important for prevention. If more people reach more resources on the topics there is likely to be fewer
extremist groups. It is important to form platforms with people who have their expertise in the area, to connect all the expert people with the same interest and to challenge them with possible situations and solutions to those situations will also have people prepared for upcoming possibilities. There’s quite a lot of ways to approach extremism. There are different perspectives and situations possible for achieving the same goal. Approaching from a local perspective, from the youth perspective, using social media, bringing in all the respected leaders in the society (religious, political), trying to approach to all parts of the society and trying to create a change, is not very complicated if it’s done with respect, boundaries, basic and fundamental human rights approach. Nothing is less and nothing is
wasted with human work. If nothing is visually achieved, there still are benefits gained from the whole process and work.

The projects working for this cause and its achievements of goals are not always on point or 100% accurate. The goals might have been achieved and adopted by certain groups of the target audience but not by the total of it. The goal of a project is a long-time concept, and it might not be achieved by the duration of the project, which does not make the project unsuccessful. Hence there should be objectives set for the process of the project which would lead to the ultimate goal, it is more likely that the set objectives would be achieved and met. SWOT analysis method might be used for this specific process and goal while the project is already in the thinking and decision phase.
